Forest Hills is a collection of communities southeast of Grand Rapids unified by the highly regarded Forest Hills Public Schools district. Spanning portions of Ada, Cascade, and Grand Rapids townships, the Forest Hills area is home to approximately 28,000 residents who chose the community primarily for its educational excellence, wooded natural setting, and proximity to Grand Rapids employment centers.
Our White Cloud headquarters is roughly 55 miles north, and Forest Hills falls within the heart of our Grand Rapids metro service area. The community's central position along the East Beltline and Cascade Road corridors makes it readily accessible for our installation crews. We maintain an active project schedule in Forest Hills year-round.
The Forest Hills landscape is characterized by rolling, wooded terrain with significant elevation changes compared to the flatter areas of West Michigan. This topography creates both aesthetic appeal and practical challenges for natural lawns. Slopes are difficult to mow safely, shaded areas under mature hardwoods resist grass establishment, and the heavy clay soils that underlie the entire area drain poorly on level ground and erode on slopes. Synthetic turf addresses all three conditions simultaneously.
